Research Programme of the Biodynamic
Research Institute for 2008

The aim of the Research Institute is to carry out scientific research mainly focused on plant nutrients recycling and conservation in agriculture environment and nutritional quality of agricultural food products. The guiding platform for the research work is the theoretical knowledge developed by Rudolf Steiner who established the general principles of biodynamic agriculture.

The research programme is divided into three different areas, which are described on the following pages. The aim is to further develop ecological agriculture at three levels: The farm, the environment and society. There are several projects within each main programme area. A project outline as well as relevant publications and reports are given for each project. More detailed accounts are given for some projects. The copies of publications can be obtained from the Institute.
